You’re Feeding Your Acne at Every Meal!

I find it hard to accept that, in this day and time, health professionals continue to tell us that diet and acne have no relationship. Acne breakouts are the result of your body being overloaded with hormones or toxic chemicals and it’s attempt to get rid of this overload by sending the material out through your skin in sebum oil. Adding more chemicals and hormones that may be in your food only adds fuel to the fire.

For some of us, acne first begins to appear in our early teen years. Your hormone levels jump to excessive levels and your body is sending the overload out through your skin emulsified in sebum oil. This is how all acne pimples start.

Would you agree that, since your hormone level is already too high, do you think it’s smart to add even more? Eating or drinking any dairy product will do that very thing. A simple glass of milk will dump 59 different hormones into your system. One of the main goals of any acne diet is to severely restrict consumption of dairy products.

Adult acne is simply a continuation of teen acne, except the cause is usually the chemicals used in processed foods rather than hormones. To your body, these chemicals are no different to the hormones of your younger years. And, it reacts the same way, sending them out in sebum oil that starts your acne outbreaks.

Any effective anti-acne diet will eliminate processed foods to remove the root cause of extra sebum production.

These examples indicate that, no matter what others may have told you, there is an absolute link between diet and acne. Always remember that the root of your acne is on the inside. Eliminate the internal cause, and the external result will go away naturally.
