Supplies for basic beer making
It’s always good to have beer stocked in your fridge in case a couple of friends come over or if there is a great game showing on cable. Beer doesn’t makes you too drunk but only slightly. You just got to make sure you don’t drink too much.
Some people like beer so much that they start making beer brewing a frequent part in their life. And I don’t mean them making it a drinking hobby, but what they do is they brew their own beer. Interesting right? You can even change the taste of beer by adding different ingredients to it. With this method you can choose the amount of any ingredient according to your taste for example if you want to have more alcohol then you can add it or if you are weight conscious then you can reduce the amount of calories in your beer.
If you have never mixed the beer earlier then here you can learn about how to make beer. The first ingredient that is required is malt. They come up with the packaging of tin cans and glass bottles. The other important component that is required is the brewing kettle; it is used to make up wort. Now the capacity of the kettle is very important. The kettle size should be able to stock the two times of beer to the amount you use at one time. It will become obvious to u by itself, and that would be much better then you being told to do it how. The next important piece that you need to get is the fermenter. After you finish making the wort on the brewing kettle, you then transfer all of it to the fermenter. This fermenter is somewhat a container that is used to contain the wort while the rest gets done by the yeast in time. It has two common types; one is made from plastic and the other from stainless steel. So here you must be confused what should you opt; if you ask me then I would recommend you the ones with stainless steel because there is no chance of smell being mixed with the beer like the plastic ones. The smell doesn’t get stick if you use the stainless steel and the same kind is used in factories also. So it only makes sense that you do the same.
These mentioned components are just the basic ones used in beer brewing. As you go along and get more experience, you will find out for yourself what the other things are. Good Luck!
