Ocean City Maryland
I love the feel of the ocean wind on a balcony when I first get to Ocean City, MD. That first day of vacation and I just sit and look out at the ocean, talk about taking your stress level away. Salt, fresh air and soon sand between my toes. Now, all that’s missing is a glass of a cold something to drink.
Now, my kids are completely different. They are looking for the hottest newest video gaming equipment in the condo. If they don’t have video games to play, we are in trouble. I don’t mind the kids playing their games because it gives me time to relax and figure out what we are doing for the day.
I know some people make a fuss but I can’t be bothered, I think kids need a vacation too. Video games are just part of it. Awhile back, I sat and reviewed video games just to make sure they were playing something I felt was appropriate, but I started to relax abit when I realized they liked either sports games or racing games, no biggie as far as I’m concerned.
I started to give time limits on video games because I didn’t want them to over do it, but I stopped stressing myself when I realized we were so busy during the day the only time they played video games was when we came home to shower and change to go out to dinner. I know I have some video gamers in the family so I have to take their ideas of fun into consideration during vacation time.
